How You Earn Commission
The following sections explain in detail how you will earn commission as a member of the Healthwize Affiliate Program.Your Own Online Shop
- When you join you are given your own online shop with its own unique web address in the following format: www.hwize.com/YourAffiliateId.
- You can then purchase your own supplements through your own shop and in doing so qualify to earn commission.
- The purchase you made before joining will be credited to you own shop as long as you have joined before the 7th day of the following month.
- Give your friends, family and colleagues your web address so that they can also buy through your shop. In doing so they will not only get quality supplements at great prices, but also boost your commission.
- Anyone making a purchase from your shop will be invited to join the affiliate program. If they join they are locked into the affiliate program with you as their sponsor. You will then continue to earn commission when they or their customers make purchases from their own online shop.
Qualifying For Commission
- Commission is calculated based on sales made during each calendar month.
- An End of Month Commission Report is sent to each member each month. This lists all sales made through a member's shop for the previous calendar month and calculates the commission earned. The report is sent to the last known email contact address as provided by the member.
- You are elligible to earn commission if you have made a qualifying sale during the calendar month in question.
- A qualifying sale is a single item (1 entry in a shopping basket) sold through your shop during the calendar month in question.
- The order in which items are sold from your shop and how the items are broken down into individual orders makes no difference to which item is selected as your qualifying sale.
- At the end of the month, the item sold through your shop that provides the least commission is selected to be your "qualifying sale". This ensures that you will receive the maximum possible commission from your sales. It also ensures that the order in which those sales were made is irrelevant.
- If you qualify for a given calendar month, you will receive commission on all sales made through your shop that calendar month except for the qualifying sale.
- If your customers join the affiliate program, then when you qualify you will also receive commission from all sales made through their shops that month.
- As members that you have sponsored into the affiliate program themselves sponsor their own customers into the affiliate program, you will build up your own "affiliate network".
For those months in which you qualify you will earn commission from sales in all shops within your own affiliate network down to 5 levels.
- A member is not penalised for failing to qualify for commission. They simply earn no commission for that month.
- The cut-off for orders and qualifications to be included for a given month is midnight GMT on the last day of that month.
The 5 Commission Pots
- Every item sold by an affiliate has commission associated with it. That commission is paid into the affiliate network at the end of the month.
- The amount of commission for each product is shown on the Product Commissions page.
- The commission for each item sold is split into 5 pots, consisting of 50%, 20%, 5%, 10% and 15% of the total commission on that item. The commission pots are paid into the affiliate network as detailed below.
Distributing The 5 Commission Pots
- The shop owner receives the first commission pot, 50% of the total commission on that item. The next commission pot of 20% is passed to the shop owner's sponsor, assuming the sponsor has qualified. If the sponsor has not qualified then the 20% pot is passed continually up through the affiliate network until a qualifying sponsor is found. The remaining 3 pots of commission are passed up the network tree in a similar fashion until all commission pots have been claimed by qualifying members.
- As you can see, the commission pots are distributed up the affiliate network tree. This means that when you sponsor people into the affiliate program through your shop you will receive commission from all their sales ! Further when they sponsor people into the program through their shop you will receive commission from their sales as well !
- As there are 5 commission pots to be claimed you can receive commission from sales through shops up to 5 levels below your own !
- As some members below you may not qualify you can actually receive commissions from sales more than 5 levels below you !
- All you do is find customers for your products. They will be invited to join each time they make a purchase. They will join with you as their sponsor.
Distributing The Commission
On A Qualifying Sale
- What about the special case of the Qualifying Sale ? The shop owner receives no commission from their qualifying sale, so where does the commission go ?
- The commission pots from a qualifying sale are split into 5 commission pots in exactly the same way as for every other sale. The only difference is that the first pot of 50% is paid into the affiliate network starting with your sponsor, rather than with yourself.
Your End of Month Report
- Approximately 10 days after the end of a calendar month the Healthwize Affiliate Program software will be run. It will send an "End of Month Report" email to you.
- The end of month report tells you whether you qualified for commission, how much commission you are owed, and maps out how your own personal affiliate network (people sponsored into the program through your shop) is progressing.
Commission Payment
- Commissions are calculated in British Pounds and paid within 7 days of you receiving your end of month report.
- Commissions are paid by PayPal by default. If you have given us a PayPal account address we will make payment of commission once your accumalated commission is greater than £1 .
- Do not send us your PayPal password. Your PayPal password should never be divulged as this would give the recipient access to funds in your account. We only need your PayPal account email address to be able to pay in your commission.
- If you have not got a PayPal account then we can pay you by cheque. Once your accumalated commission reaches £10 we will send a cheque to your postal address.
- If your accumalated commission reaches £10 and you have not yet provided either a PayPal address or a postal address (we no longer ask for a postal address when registering) then we will contact you by email to prompt you to supply us either with a mailing address for a cheque or to provide us with a PayPal address.
- You are responsible for declaring and paying any taxes due on your commission from HealthWize LLC. You are not employed by Healthwize LLC.
